This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website.
Who we are

What we collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the booking enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your travel dates, the number of guests, your room preference and any message you add.
We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this site.
Why we use it
We use those details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange your stay. That is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and where you tick the consent box, your consent under Article 6(1)(a).
Who sees it
Your enquiry is delivered to our own email inbox through a form-delivery service, and read by the family who run Starlight. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
This site embeds a Google Maps frame on the Location page. When that map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies under its own privacy policy.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking correspondence is kept for as long as Greek tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. Email starlightoceanview@hotmail.com and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Third-party cookies may be set by the embedded Google Map if you visit the Location page.
